Advanced Special Needs Assisting, Level 6
This advanced course equips the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the theory and practice underpinning the education and care of those with special educational needs so as to enable the learner to assist in the provision of this education and care.
The scheduling of the course will allow participants to work while completing their studies.
Award: QQI Component Certificate in Special Needs Assisting 6N1957
Duration: September to December 2024; Monday 9.30 to 12.45pm and Wednesday 9.30am to 11.30am
Special Needs Assisting: September to December 2024 plus 25 hours work experience

Course Requirements:
All learners must have successfully completed the Level 5 Award in Special Needs Assisting (5N1786)
Garda Vetting will be required for work experience.
For those with English as a second language, a good standard of both written and spoken English is required.
